The 34' Airstream weighs in about 8k lb. empty and about 9.8k lb. full of
everything you need and don't need.

Having towed a 7k lb. trailer with an older 1/2 ton Suburban with a 350 and
3:73 gears I can tell you from experience it was at its limit.  IMHO

I now tow the 34' with a 3/4 ton Suburban with the 454 cu. inch and 4:10
gears.  It is just right....it doesn't let the trailer push it around and it
has guts.
