That would work for a tire that still has pressure, but for a FLAT one?? 

George Tripp recommended using the trailer brakes, which worked for him.
After thinking about it for awhile, I believe that using several leveling
blocks under the flat wheel (after jacking it up, then lowering it onto the
blocks) might also work. I always have several inches total thickness of
leveling planks/blocks/whatever along with a bottle jack. Alternately,
perhaps just jamming the blocks under the flat and letting the wrench
torque pull them tighter would also do it, even easier.
