Re: [a/s] Re: 2000 Ford f-250

Hi George.

As I fulltime the Ford truck is my only vehicle. My daily driver and tow
vehicle.

It's perfect for my need.... room for my dogs (crew cab), lots of power for
towing...especially when I needed it in the last few weeks...between wind and
cattle sloloming.

It's also big and red and pretty which fullfills the need to have a "cool"
truck.

The maintenence is high as far as the cost of oil changes...but other than
that, I think once you have laid out the initial big bucks the truck is
pretty inexpensive. Fuel is cheaper than gas in most places and it gets much
better mileage than an equivilent gas engine. Also it will hold its value
when the mileage is high.

At first I hated the diesel roar... now I love it (c:

If I hit the lottery tomorrow and could have any truck and trailer combo on
the road I wouldn't switch my truck or my trailer. They are both perfect for
my needs.
