Re: [a/s] National Cowboy Hall of Fame-Oklahoma City May 16, 2000

HH and List -

It is probably too late for you to go to Guthrue, OK, and visit the National Lighter Museum. This place is
definitely worth a stop and the owner-folks who run it are just larger than life "real people. The museum is a
minor gem, the articles are very interesting, some going back hundreds of years. If you show a degree of
interest and knowledge the owner will chat your ear off as the lighter collection, some 20,000+ is his pride
and joy. I knew a bit and asked plenty and we spent some 2+ hours with the folks.

For more information go to natlitrmus on the Internet. Ted and Pat Ballard run it and are great folks,
although it make take them a while to warm to you as most folks who visit do not 1) make the requested
contribution for upkeep of $2 and 2) do not show much interest.

Give it a shot, you will be glad you did.
