Usually the electricity charge is by the kilowatt/hour.
So, if the air conditioner is 2000 watts, in an hour it uses 2kw (running
full time.) If  the local charge is, say $.10 per KWH, the cost is $.20 for
each hour. From there, the calculation is easy.
However, rates chane by jurisdiction and by the total amount of electricity
used, so....
