Re: [a/s] Towing Question Can-Am

Dan,

CAN-AM has a good reputation. There has been lots of posts regarding their
towing systems and I am sure yours won't be the last. They've set up and
towed big trailers with little cars all the time.

Everything I own is HDuty and I am a firm believer in going that route, but
different strokes for different folks.

Power, wheel base, frame are all very important. I am saving what I think
is the most important for last....braking capacity.

If you don't have enough car with good brakes, you won't stop your trailer
as good as you should. Trailer brakes are important, but when you've got a
couple of tons pushing you around in hilly terrain, you need a good HDuty
tow vehicle with good brakes to help stop and slow.

Dan....this is my opinion. I've towed trailers of all sizes for 30+ years.
I've had some bad experiences and some good ones that I refer to as
NON-experiences.

Good luck...we're here to help you.
