dear group,

just a note on what i've found out about replacement draperies.  i too thought
mr ambruso was expensive.  it would have cost $320-$350 for replacement
draperies on my 76 argosy.

what was expensive was my lesson and what improved was my hindsight!  found an
upholsterer that would do the curtains for $175!  bargain right? wrong!  i still
had to buy the hardware to have them installed so after $75 on hardware i didn't
save all that much. considering the new total is now $250 now i'm sweating
whether or not they will fit properly.

i think you get what you pay for.  mr ambruso was very informative and sent me a
nice professional looking packet to view fabrics etc........i should have stayed
with him.

but then again, it's just my two cents worth.
