Hi Don,

I have the exact same trailer..... Love it!!  I have never had a problem with 
the clearcoat, but I bought it used so the previous owner might have.

To answer your questions..... I was  under the impression that not only do 
you need to wash your trailer, but it needs to be waxed too. To me, waxing 
and polishing are different.  You shouldn't need to polish it twice a year.

You might contact Rolite Co. about their polish products at 1-800-253-6466 
plus get their advice.  Ask for Janet.  They sell to do it yourselfers, but 
their advice should answer a lot of your questions.
