Re: [a/s] Parts Suppliers

You know...The way I found the one out here.......Westcoast...was just to ask
the guys in the Parts Dept. of the Airstream Dealer. Each guy/gal there was
asked I think I asked 4 or 5 before I found someone who had the info!
You can prob. get this same information for your area, by doing the same
thing. Parts people stay in touch with others, and usually know about
'bone-yards', etc...especially for Airstreams b/c so many of our Vintage or
older ones, the parts have been discontinued and the ONLY place to get them
IS a boneyard. I would ask each and every employee at the nearest Airstream
Dealership.
...........Cat
P.S. You know I wouldn't be surprised if some of them (even FAR away from
you and everyopne else, may have a catolog and an 800 number for mail/phone
ordering, just the way Volkswagen, Chevy (Classic Cameros/Vettes, etc.),
Porsche, etc. do!)
IS THERE A PUBLICATION FOR AIRSTREAMS...(NOT ON THE NET...BUT A MAGAZINE?
That's NOT WBCCI? If there is, in the back of it there's probably those 2x2
listings for mail-order places for parts.
If anyone finds it, please share it.
