       First of all, welcome to the list. We have a '69 27' International
also. I have not done it yet but, someone on the list recommended using
aluminum hinges to replace the plastic, which I understand is no longer
available.  If someone comes up with it I too would be interested.  Back
to the aluminum hinge. As I recall some modification was necessary to
either the door cover or the frame.  It involved using a router cutting
away part of one or the other, most likely the frame. You might be able
to locate hinges at a place that sells airplane parts  we have one here
in KC that I have gotten several raw materials to work with.

We have spent the last yeare and a half  working on our restoration.  If
I can be any help please let me know.
