[a/s] Pocketmail

I like the P'Mail very much - it sure does perform as advertised and more...
can save addresses. While traveling this winter I have been sending
"community" letter to a 40 people at one time/ keeping up with the the A/S
mail list. I was able to keep our original e-mail address from our
university. There was no need to change our address-programmed incoming mail
at our primary address to be automatically copied & forwarded to our P'Mail
address.
NOWWW, this is where a glitch developed & I'm not sure if was P'Mail's fault
or the Internet itself. P'Mail system went down of going in and grabbing mail
at our prim. address. Our primary address is where I was subscribed for A/S
mail.
Welll, P'Mail finally fixed the problem day or so ago and that's why Hunter
got 200 messages- I'm thinking there might have been 70 or 80??? old A/S
messages from couple wks ago and 70 messages x 3 bounces made couple hundred
messages!
Yikes,I can't imagine how frustrated she must be with that mess!! But, I hope
it will be okay now.
A note of caution - you must have patience to maintain the many A/S messages
with this system. But it has been more than worth it for me- there was too
much running around looking and asking for a connection to do e-m with my
laptop and too many places I found no connection after all the running
around. In 3 mos. time I will have this unit pd. off from monthly service
savings. Service is $9.95/mo. I was spending $40 to $45 and that included NO
I'Net time.
VERY sorry, Hunter - don't blame you if you're not a "supporter" of P'Mail...
