Re: [a/s] Re: Tire inflation pressures

According to The Chevrolet Motor Home Guide and/or Michelin Guide the correct
pressures are:

2260 lbs on a 8R19.5 Radial should be 55 psi
1795 lbs for dual rear's less than 55 psi
These are for a load range "D" tire. A load range "F" gives slightly better
ratings at these pressure levels, however, you can go up to 85 lbs maximum.
I believe these levels (55 psi) are too low for good wear especially with the
"F" rating. My Motorhome recommendation (1990 345 Classic) is:
front singles 70 psi and rear duals 60 psi.
I use load range "G" tires and 80 psi front with 70 psi rear. My unit weighs
about 2000 lbs more than yours.

I would recommend that you try 70 psi front and 60 psi for the rear duals. This
should give good wear with a reasonable ride comfort. Monitor the tire wear
over a period of time to check for under or over-inflation.
