There is a hole in the shelf my TV sits on, meant for the antenna and power
cables to pass through. I used this hole to run a restraining cable up to
the TV (cable is bolted to the TV cabinet). I put the TV on a sheet of the
"no-slip" rubber stuff, too. It CANNOT fall off the shelf, but I have to
occasionally move it back into the exact viewing position after a ride. It
has ridden there for 30 - 40 thousand miles now.
