My hook up doesn;t work that way.  I can't connect my co ax from the dish to 
the bable connection because I have a power booster.

I had to run flat coax out a window.  Connected the reciever from the inside 
and the dish outside.  That worked perfectly.

Now I have a roof dish....so no more tripods and cables.
