Concur. But I think you can safely divide the state in half on this issue.
From Little Rock east to Graceland I-40 is terrible. From LR west to the
Amarillo Junction it's smooth sailing.  
Traveller's note:  Oklahoma is a state of mind unto itself, not to be
confused as a western suburb of Little Rock!
