A thought!  

A couple years ago I back my '78 Argosy trailer into a roof over hand and 
bashed in   the corner of the AC "plastic" cover. Not usre if was an 
Armstrong but it the original AC unit. Cover was brittle.  One piece fell 
out and I recovered it.  Took the cover off and bought a fiberglass 
repair kit and working  on the inside  I patched the thing together. Used 
some auto body paste on outside to smooth over repair, sanded it down and 
painted it. Almost like new.
