Hi Michael -

I don't know of many vintage units in that size range (if any) with a rear
full bed...most of them have either mid-twins like our '66...or a center
sofa-bed with an opposing storage unit...and, as you mentioned, most of them
have rear baths...but they are still very livable and have many other
virtues, such as...

They are initially less expensive to purchase
They are generally less expensive to insure
AS typically used higher quality materials in the older units
They are generally lighter than a comparably-sized newer unit
    (and thus, easier to tow)
Most parts are still readily available
The systems are simple enough for the average handyman (or woman) to cope
    with by themselves

We made a mod for a simple foam insert on our Overlander.  It turns the
mid-twins into an almost king-size bed...cheap, easy and gives us a choice
of configurations...

not that I don't love the layout of Hunter's "nearly new" 25...it's
sweet...but I'm glad I'm not making those nearly-new trailer payments!   ;-)
