Rich, The 73 Excella had the gray water
tank, and those manufactured after the 
model year break (probably June 73 for
74 models).  It was not the rear bath that was the culprit in tail-sag.
It was the gray
water tank and on models longer than 29
feet, altho' the 29 could have.  Also as you
indicated, the first gray water tank was 
small and did not overload the chassis.
Another source of body-separation which
also resulted in tail-sag
