Peter and others:  you can have the best
of both worlds if you want to be able to
have your Fantastic on during rain:
Maxxair has the same shell without the
exhaust fan, etc., which I believe leaves
ample clearance for the Fantastic exhaust fan.  But check it out if you
decide to go
that route.  

I beg to disagree with Chris and others who believe the Maxxair with
exhaust fan
moves as much air as the Fantastic. I
had one A/S in which I installed the Maxxair and it did not!  Maybe the
literature give equal volume to both,
but it just did not in our experience.  (We
because Harriett was irate with me for
having it put in). It was an emergency measure because the dealer did
not carry the Fantastic.
