Hi,
We have just joined the list and want to introduce ourselves.  We are Chris 
and Esther from the Villages in Lady Lake, FL.  Just got our Airstream (24ft. 
Safari) on Dec. 13 and made a 4000 mile trip to see grandchildren over the 
holidays.  I am retired from the data communications field and we are looking 
forward to making many trips with our new "home away from home".  We are 
pulling our unit with a 1999 GMC conversion van--350 V-8 and four speed 
trans.  Still getting oriented to a small unit (had a large motorhome before) 
and where to put everything.  We also travel with two Bichon Frise's who seem 
to think the Airstream is a great place to be.  They own everything and let 
us use it.

I would like to be a full timer; however, my wife still needs to have a 
house.  We are planning a trip to the Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier 
National Park and hope to go through Arizona on the way out and New Mexico on 
the way back.  Any advise on such a long trip will be appreciated.

I have had dreams of being an Airstream owner since the 60's and that dream 
has finally come true.  Hope to meet you on the net or on the road.
